Discipleship isnāt just what we do, itās who we are.
āAnd Jesus came and said to them, āAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.āā - Matthew 28:18-20
These were Jesusā parting words to his disciples, and at Kingās Cross we believe that this is the primary mission of every Christ follower. While we believe that everything we do - from our Sunday Worship services, to childrenās church, to Second Sundays, and everything in between - is layered with discipleship, we also regularly offer opportunities for deeper connection and discipleship. Gospel communities are small groups made up in families meeting in homes through the week. These groups share meals, care for one another, pray together, and study Godās Word. We have not had these groups available since changing our discipleship plan in 202, and are bringing them back in the fall of 2023. To let us know you would like to join, or if you would be interested Iām helping lead one, follow one of the links below.

Discipleship groups are gendered groups of 3 - 4 men or women that meet in homes throughout the week, with the purpose of reading Godās word, praying together, caring for one another, and learning what it means to follow Christ together.

EQUIP is a 9 month spiritual formation cohort, focused on becoming a fully developed disciple of Jesus Christ. These groups meet weekly in homes to discuss specific readings from books on a variety of topics, including the believerās identity in Christ, how to pray/read the Bible, Biblical Theology, and more.
